Our essential workers are a huge part of our community events throughout the year. Our New Year’s party is no different and due to unforeseen circumstances many of our good friends in our essential workforce have been impacted by COVID and will not be able to have our traditional ball drop. We have modified our New Year party to celebrate these men and women who make up our essential workforce in our Borough and the festivities will continue as we honor and celebrate them!
We encourage you to enjoy a delicious dinner downtown, bring down some pots/pans & noisemakers of every description as we ring in 2022 and celebrate all of our essential workers who have been the heart and soul of our community over the years.
Join us at the Metuchen Town Plaza from 6pm to 8pm (music videos and photo booth caravan from 5pm to 8pm) for a very special New Year party on the plaza! Laser light show at 6:00pm and confetti cannon countdown at 7pm, party goers can purchase cannons starting at 5pm with a donation to our all volunteer EMS and Fire Department (limited number of cannons are available). All chairs and tables have been moved into storage, so please bring your own chairs if necessary.
