Spring Holidays – Let us know of any Spring events or promotions at your business!
Upcoming MDA Events
National Small Business Week (Sunday May 1st to Saturday May 7th) – Downtown Metuchen will be celebrating National Small Business Week! This will be a one week promotion structured similar to Restaurant Week with a focus on non-restaurant businesses (although restaurants may participate if they would like). Consider pop-up events this week, sidewalk sales, new merchandise showcase, trunk show, special offers & sales etc. Please email us to let us know of your participation.
As part of this event, we would love to profile you for a social media campaign. Simply fill out the questionnaire and submit a photo of yourself/business to be included to info@downtownmetuchen.org.
Spring Bazaar (Saturday May 21st 11am to 4pm) – Let us know of any specials, promotions and events at your business for this day. We expect strong crowds for this annual event, so help us get the word out on how we can direct patrons to your business!
Downtown PreProm (Thursday May 27th 4pm to 7pm) – An annual event with the Metuchen High School to help celebrate this year’s graduating class. If you’re a beauty-based business or tailor, help us share information to families on ways to support local!
Breakdancing Downtown (Saturday June 11th 5pm to 8pm) – A fun night of breakdancing in the Metuchen Town Plaza. Be sure to let your customers know about the event and let us know of any specials this day!
Juneteenth (Saturday June 18th 6pm to 8pm) – An evening of discussion and performances celebrating this state holiday! Let your customers know and let us know how you plan on celebrating with your business.
Kids Takeover (Tuesday June 21st 1pm to 5pm) – The last day of school! This annual event is back and day for kids and families to get out and unwind before summer officially begins! Expect large crowds and be sure to feature kids and family specials for folks to get to know your business better!
